Aerie or Auxiliary: what's the difference?

The Eagles have two memberships that share our club home. Both are proud Eagles. They are two separate organizations, each with its own officers, meetings and dues.

Aerie 4278 seal OPEN TO MEN AND WOMEN, 18+The Aerie
Our local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Aerie members elect the Aerie officers, vote on Aerie business, and help run the club.
Auxiliary seal FOR WOMENThe Auxiliary
A sister organization for women only. It works alongside the Aerie on charity, community and patriotic causes, with its own officers, meetings, fundraisers and projects.
Which one is right for me?
Men join the Aerie. Women choose one: the Aerie or the Auxiliary. You belong to one or the other, not both. Not sure? Ask any officer at the club and we'll help you decide.

Dues

Item Aerie Auxiliary
Application fee (one time)$20$20

Caring for families

The Memorial Foundation
Created in 1947 to help the families of Eagles lost in World War II. Today it cares for the children of members who lose their lives serving their country or on the job, including adopted children and stepchildren. Help covers education, medical, dental and orthodontic, vision, hospital and mental health care.
The Eagles Charity Foundation
Funds research and patient care for diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, children's illnesses, spinal cord injuries and more. FOE says 100% of donations go to the people and organizations who need them.
